Da Ma Cai donates 220,000 to 22 charitable organizations

Da Ma Cai launched its Southern Region Chinese New Year Festival Charity Programme, and presented a total of RM220,000 was to 22 charitable organizations from the Southern Region.

The Southern Region Annual Chinese New Year Festival Charity Programme presentation ceremony was held at Putuo Village. About 150 residents and representatives from 22 welfare homes comprising the disabled, senior citizens and orphans were treated to a special feast. 

Chong Yoon Yew, Senior Manager of Numbers Forecast Operations said that the community outreach programme was one of the company’s continuous initiatives and commitments to give something back to the less fortunate in the society.

Present was Persatuan Kebajikan Amitabha Malaysia Chairman, Chong Tzer Bin.

Earlier last week, Da Ma Cai kicked-off the nationwide programme in Kuala Lumpur at Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor and Federal Territory, where 35 welfare homes from Central Region received donations amounting to RM350,000. In addition to today’s event, similar presentation ceremony was held at Rumah Sejahtera Permatang Tinggi, Penang for Northern Region to give out RM230,000 donations.
